English cosmetic company Lush has announced his retirement from social networks. The company will continue to communicate with consumers through its website, email and phone number.
In his Instagram the company wrote the following:
“Social networks make for us harder and harder to communicate with each other directly. We are tired of fighting with algorithms and do not want to pay for appearing in your news feed. We decided that it was time to say goodbye to some of our social channels and instead start a conversation between you and us. This is not the end but a new beginning.
Lush has always been made of many voices and it is time that all of them were answered. We are not willing to limit yourself to communicating only in one place. We want the communication back in the hands of our community – from our founders to our friends.”
The company will continue to respond to comments in social networks by the end of next week, and then the brand can be contacted via live chat, email or phone.
Judging by the comments in Instagrame under this message, many customers of the brand, this decision is not liked, the company was accused of returning to the stone age. But there are those who supported the company’s decision.
