The Element of Surprise ColourPop Eyeshadow Palette

Hello! Today I want to tell you about another palette, this time the brand ColourPop.

Somehow unwittingly collected a stack of 12 charts ColourPop. Two of them have been told before, decided that the time has come to tell about the rest, and start with the Element of Surprise.

Lately the palette ColourPop makes me glad to try out all their eyes I have not had time, but all powathil, the quality is decent, colors are interesting, each with a highlight, and no one I’m not ready to leave.

The Element of Surpise is a set of several neutral shades, a couple of duochrome, shiny metallics and bright accent. The palette is packaged in a cardboard box, the design repeats the design of the palette, so to make a photo box, I will not. Eyeshadow palette 12 shades at 1.05 g each, it is made of cardboard soft-touch and looks like this:

1) Feels — white-pink duochrome

2) Late night — very intesny bronze metallic with a pinkish tinge

3) Silk Street — a matte dark berry

4) Rayon — wet red with greenish highlight

Detailed opinion.

Will start with the disadvantages — they are, but, in my opinion, nothing critical. First I didn’t really like the first shade, it is dry, texture the skin (seen in swatches). But when applied to hard natural brush gives a lovely pink highlight in the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow. On the eyelid to apply it I would not. Dark shades of Silk Street and Blank Canvas — not too pigmented and require layering is typical of similar shades of shadows mass market. Peach is pretty useless for me personally — in the crease it is bright like a highlighter dark as restoremessage does not fit well with most other shades in the palette — neither berries, nor to the dusty pink it is not suitable. Well, glitter, the color Details that have no function other than crumbling under the eye during application. This, perhaps, everything 🙂

With regard to the merits, firstly, it is of course the price. Secondly the hints laid still non-trivial analogues is the Late Night and Rayon I have not yet met, Subdue a bit like Tonic from UD, but still another fuchsia classy — a good combination of color and texture, I also like yellow-brown, these shades are also quite rare. In General, the palette is happy 🙂
