The title of “Miss America — 2019” won Nia Imani Franklin from new York

Last night in Atlantic city, new Jersey, took place the final of beauty contest “Miss America — 2019”. And the winner is a resident of the state of new York Nia Imani Franklin.

To captivate spectators and, of course, the jury of the Franklin managed not only for its appearance: a girl with six years of experience in the music, which played an important role in her life, and in the competition she sang a medley from the Opera “La Boheme”.

But in a bikini this year any one of the participants (and there were 51!) events appeared in June the organizers of the competition stated that reject the traditional defile in bathing suits.

Home Franklin took not only the crystal crown, which she handed to the winner of the contest “Miss America — 2018” Kara Mundu from North Dakota, she also received a scholarship worth 50 thousand dollars.

Second place in the contest “Miss America — 2019” was taken by a representative of the Massachusetts, the third — Florida, the fourth Louisiana, the fifth Connecticut.
